Lots of room for improvisation in this arrangement. Trumpets come in at #9 with some noisy noodling. At #25 and #49 (Verse 1 & 2), it’s like a 4 bar conversation between trumpets. Feel free to ad lib. During the end of the second tune, at #139, the feel changes to a straight ahead swing. This can be open for solos easily amongst the trumpets, or Horn in F (or alt trombone).
Arranged with a 2nd Line New Orleans feel in mind. Parts include: Score, Trumpet 1 & 2, Horn in F (alt Trombone 1), Bass Trombone (or Tuba), and Drums.
